Conklin students learn how to make healthy snacks and play lacrosse
Posted on November 29th, 2017
What an awesome day for grade 4-6 students at Conklin Community School! The school welcomed FoodImpact to educate students on making healthy snacks. Food Impact believes that healthier communities start with education so they provide nutrition education to Alberta school students, teachers and parents http://www.foodimpact.ca/. After making healthy snacks, Nicholas Brown, Physical Literacy School and Sport Organization Coordinator at Northern Lights Public Schools educated students about the history of lacrosse and how to play the game. Thank you APPLE Schools for supporting these workshops!
